Once upon a time, Sean Cody restricted the number of scenes that a model could appear in. The performers who had greater porn ambitions sought work elsewhere, leaving room for new faces to shine on the site. This is how “Barry” paved the way for the career of Paul Wagner, and on a less positive note, the mononymous “Colby” became the justifiably canceled Colby Keller.
The lines got blurred in 2015 when MEN.COM‘s parent company acquired Sean Cody. Fan-favorite models were brought out of retirement, and there were crossovers between the two sites. Established OnlyFans stars were invited to film with the studio, ultimately leading to the inclusion of last names on the site. Late last year, over 2,000 of the site’s early videos were removed from the site.
One could argue that this just means Sean Cody is evolving (and there are definitely many ways in which it should evolve). The unfortunate side effect is that we’re left with someone like Jax. The well-endowed hunk recently began appearing in scenes for MEN.COM, but he remains a presence on Sean Cody. Fans definitely want to see more of Jax, but the problem is, he’s upstaging nearly every other model he appears with.
Jax, point blank, is too fucking hot for Sean Cody. He needs to move on. They need to let him go. He just did a scene with a newcomer named Bentley, and it’s impossible to focus on Bentley when Jax is in the same damn room. While the strategy of pairing well-known models with up-and-coming models sounds good on paper, it doesn’t quite work if the demand for the up-and-comer isn’t on the same level. It’s my humble opinion that Jax should be retired from Sean Cody or at least used sparingly, for the sake of his peers on the site.
UPDATE: if you need further evidence to drive my point home, let’s consider that Sean Cody‘s official Twitter account promoted this scene with nothing but a picture of Jax. In promoting this scene, the studio itself is barely acknowledging the existence of Bentley (who has a shit-ton of potential if they actually give him a moment of spotlight).
